Makana: "I thought I saw something there. A gopher, maybe?"

マカナ：「なんかここにいるのを見たと思ったんだけど。ホリネズミかな？」

Sprouts are weeds 〜発芽した芽は雑草〜

 

Sachi: "I kind of smell brother Ma here..."

さち：「ここ、なんかマーにいにいの匂いがしゅる‥‥」

Mommy: "You are right about that."

ママ：「それは、正しい。」

Mommy: "According to daddy, Ma-kun pulled the sunflower that was sprouting yesterday. I just put it back. I hope it's still alive."

ママ：「パパによると、マーくんが昨日、発芽してたひまわりを引っこ抜いたんだって。たった今戻したの。まだ生きてるといいけど。」

Makana: "...... I don't remember..."

マカナ：「‥‥ ぼく、覚えてない‥‥」

Mommy: "Other are also sprouting from the soil. Please don't pull them out, OK, Ma-kun?"

ママ：「他のも土から発芽してきてる。マーくん、もう引っこ抜かないでよ。わかった？」

Makana: "Zzzz...."

マカナ：「......」

Sunflowers have sprouted. 〜ひまわりが発芽した〜

 

Mommy: "Oh! The big sunflowers have sprouted!"

ママ：「あっ！　大きなひまわり、発芽した！」

Mommy: "Another one is growing here, too. It's good to have the nice weather."

ママ：「こっちでも育ってる。いいお天気っていいわね〜」

Sachi: "I agree. (smile)"

さち：「でしゅよね。（ニコッ）」

Sachi: "But, I'm feeling a little warm after a morning walk. Can you open the door?"

さち：「でも〜、わたち、朝のお散歩でちょっと暑いでしゅから。ドア、開けてくれましぇんか？」

Makana: "I'm going to stay here for a while."

マカナ：「ぼくは、しばらくここにいる。」

Mommy: "You love to sit here for sunbathing."

ママ：「マーくんは、ここに座って日光浴するのが大好きよね。」

For the local humane society 〜地元の動物愛護団体のために〜

 

Wine 4 Paws was a fund-raising event for the local human society. There are many people and some dogs who visited our tasting room and the restaurant last weekend.

Wine 4 Pawsは、地元の動物愛護団体へのファンドレイジングでした。先週末、たくさんの方々や犬たちが何頭か、テイスティングルームとレストランを訪れて下さいました。

健康な若い犬たち、そして‥‥

also the one with one eye visited us for fund-raising. We gave bandannas to all dogs for free.

片目の犬も、ファンドレイジングのために来てくれました。犬たちには全員、無料でバンダナを配りました。

Makana: "I don't know if I can donate any money."

マカナ：「ぼく、募金したかな。」

Mommy: "No worries. Daddy & mommy are going to do it."

ママ：「心配ないよ。パパとママが募金するから。」

Daddy: "Yes, for sure. Now, let's go back home. Goldens are waiting for us."

パパ：「うん、確かに。さあ、おうちに帰ろう。ゴールデンズが待ってるから。」

Sachi: "Welcome back, mommy & daddy♪"

Makana: "Ahhh, I was going to say that first!"

Papillon's ears 〜パピヨンのお耳〜

 

Mommy: "Brrrr.... What a cold day. It feels like winter again."

ママ：「ブルルル‥‥ なんて寒い日。また冬が戻って来たみたいな感じ。」

Mommy: "This rose might be regreting to have bloomed. We all can't wait for the warm weather."

ママ：「このバラの花、咲いてしまったことを後悔してるかも。みんな、温かいお天気が待ち遠しいわよね。」

Sachi: "Oh, mommyyyyy! Welcome back♪"

さち：「あ、ママ〜〜〜！　おかえり〜♪」

Mommy: "Umm, I haven't been back yet. I still have to clean the chicken coop."

ママ：「あの、まだ帰ってないのよ。にわとり小屋をお掃除しなきゃいけないの。」

Sachi: "What? I came all the way here with papillon's ears."

さち：「えっ？　せっかくパピヨンのお耳でここまで来たのに。」

Being jelous 〜ヤキモチ〜

 

Mommy: "Wine 4 Paws this weekend. We are donationg 10% of wine-sales today and tomorrow to the local humane society. We are also giving away spring bandanas to all dogs who visit the tasting room."

ママ：「今週末は、Wine 4 Paws。今日と明日のワイン売り上げの10パーセントを、地元の動物愛護団体に寄付するの。それに、テイスティングルームを訪問してくれたすべての犬たちに、春のバンダナをプレゼントするのよ。」

Daddy: "I hope many people & dogs visit our tasting room."

パパ：「たくさんの人たちや犬たちが、テイスティングルームを訪れてくれるといいね。」

Sachi: "NO!!! I don't want you both to pet other dogs!!!"

さち：「ダメッ！！！　他の犬たちをよちよちちないで！！！」

Makana: "Sachi is as jealous as I am."

マカナ：「さっちゃん、ぼくと同じくらいヤキモチやいてる。」
